Takashi Takeuchi and Jin Kobayashi Collaborating On Doujinshi

Recommended Videos

Type-Moon artist Takashi Takeuchi will be collaborating on a doujinshi with mangaka Jin Kobayashi (School Rumble) for this winter’s comiket. The doujin will be published under the Rubicon Hearts circle and will be a 36-pages-long in full colour.

They’re naming it “Kyoto, haru.” (Spring in Kyoto) Takeuchi in particular seems very enthusiastic about the project:

What broke my “vague” feeling was Kobayashi Jin’s great enthusiasm.

I thought that he would make some absurd suggestions, but at the same time I started getting more and more enthusiastic about the entire thing too. This was the same kind of feeling I constantly had 10 years ago. This feeling is probably the start where all my creative work came from.

In the (likely) event that the doujinshi doesn’t get licensed by an English publisher, I’m sure the scanlation community will step up to translate it. I’ll keep everyone posted. God, I’ve missed looking at Takeuchi’s artwork. It really is too bad he isn’t working on Fate/Extra.
