IOSYS And Hudson Soft Releasing Collaboration Album Sung By Master Higgins

Recommended Videos

Hudson Soft and Japanese doujin circle-cum-music ensemble IOSYS are releasing a music album in collaboration on January 27, titled Legend of Master Takahashi ~16 Shot Rapidfire Spirit~. In case you’re wondering, that refers to Hudson superstar Takahashi Meijin’s ability to hit the trigger button 16 times per second in popular shoot-em-up series Star Soldier.

Longtime reader Denpa no Sekai reports on his blog that every song on the 14-track album is sung by Takahashi Meijin (aka Master Higgins) himself. The album contains original and remixed music from classic Hudson games, and illustrations by Hatsune Miku designer, KEI.

Denpa’s post contains a ridiculous amount of detail and research, as well as a full album sampler provided by Hudson, so if you’re interested in the videogame music scene, we’d fully recommend giving it a read.
