Pikachu Will Ride On Your Shoulder In Pokémon GO’s Buddy System Easter Egg

Pokémon GO recently got its latest update, bringing the app up to version 1.7.0 on iOS devices and version 0.37.0 on Android. The update brought with it a few new features, including the Buddy System, in which you can take your treasured Pokémon on walks to earn Candies.

However, thanks to The Silph Road over on Twitter, a rather cute Easter egg has been discovered in the new update. Pokémon GO trainers who own a Pikachu will find that, once you walk 10k with your Pikachu using the Buddy System, the Pokémon will actually ride on your shoulder when you view your avatar on the trainer details screen.

Pokémon GO is available for iOS and Android devices.
