Yu Suzuki Talks About Shenmue III’s Music In The Latest Development Report

Ys Net has released a new backer video to help people see how Shenmue III is coming along. In this over five minute interview, called “Yu-san and Music,” Yu Suzuki talks about the Shenmue series’ soundtracks and how important songs can be to help pull people into the world.

 

In the video, Suzuki goes over the creation of Shenmue III’s music. He talks about how he was in rock bands when he was in school, his influences, his role in the creation process, and his belief that the soundtrack is one the key elements that pulls a game together.

 

 

Shenmue III has a tentative December 2017 launch window for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
