Falcom announced that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana’s first-print copies and pre-orders on PS4 come with an art book for Ys VIII as well as one for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana Documents Collection
This art book contains early designs and more for Adol, Dana, and all the characters, as well as documents on the setting of “Siren Island,” enemy character designs, and more from the upcoming PS4 version of the game. The entire book is also full-color, making it a nice collector’s item for any fan of the series.

The second bonus item is actually one from the latest of the Trails series in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III that is expected to release in Japan in Fall 2017. The documents collection features valuable info on various key characters and more. The art book contains top secret info on Trails of Cold Steel III, set in the Erebonian Empire in the Septian Calendar’s year of 1206.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana releases in Japan on May 25, 2017 for PlayStation 4. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is expected to launch in Fall 2017 in Japan for PlayStation 4.
