Sonic Forces Footage Takes A Look At Its Tag Team Option

Recommended Videos

In Sonic Forces, you aren’t just playing as one of the versions of Sonic or your original avatar. The game will also Tag stages. When going through this sort of stage, people will be able to switch between two characters. A new video just released by Sega shows how these work.

The Sonic Forces avatar characters have a grappling hook and can wield Wispon weapons, while Modern Sonic has boost skills and homing attacks. This means a Tag stage lets you switch between the two skill sets to overcome any challenge. The two can also team up for a special boost that lets them go even faster than usual.

In addition to the Sonic Forces Tag video, the “Vs. Metal Sonic (US ver.) Remix” track has been released.

Sonic Forces will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Japan on November 9, 2017. It will release in other regions during the holiday 2017 season.
