On April 24th, Bandai are opening a “Gundam Official Café” in Akihabara, aka “electric town.” The café will serve as a Gundam information centre and hopes to appeal to both longtime fans of the franchise as well as newcomers to the Gundam craze.

The Gundam Official Café is able to seat 60 people and will offer “Gundam-inspired menus,” which will be revealed soon. The café’s specialty, however, will be a coffee blend using South American coffee beans, named “Jaburo Coffee.” Jaburo was the headquarters of the Earth Federal Forces during and after the One Year War in Mobile Suit Gundam.
