Viz Publishing First Vampire Knight DVD In July

Pop-culture coverage site ICv2 are reporting that VIZ have scheduled the launch of the Vampire Knight anime for July 20th. Going on sale for $19.97, the vol. 1 DVD will include a “mini-sampler” for the Vampire Knight manga as well.

VIZ also plan to market the release of the DVD heavily at the San Diego Comic-Con, Anime Expo, and even at certain Twilight conventions, which is rather apt, considering the direction Vampire Knight takes in later volumes.
