Niantic announced yesterday that Pokémon GO will see more Pikachu and Pichu spawns today, in celebration of the game’s second anniversary. A special “Summer Style” Pikachu will also be available throughout the month.
The “Summer Style” Pikachu is decked out in a straw hat and sunglasses, and for those with Pikachu Fan medals, Pikachu Fan Avatar items such as a T-shirt and Pikachu ears will be available for purchase.
Finally, Special Research on Celebi will be available in the near future.
