The Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden codes are for a free, digital copy of the Japanese Super Famicom game. As a reminder, this is the same game that was a pre-order promotion for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Here is the official announcement from Facebook.

Basically, the notice is saying, “Help Goku get us 10,000 new newsletter subscribers, and we’ll give away download codes for Dragon Ball Super Butoden for Nintendo Switch (Japanese version) to all subscribers.  Spread the word and subscribe!”

Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden was released on the Super Famicom in Japan and Super Nintendo in Europe in 1993. It has 13 playable characters.
