Ryo apparently needs a little more time to get ready for his next adventure. Another Shenmue III delay has been announced. The notice went live on its Kickstarter page, noting it will now be released on November 19, 2019.

Vague details were given explaining why Shenmue III has been delayed again. In the message provided, it said a “a little more refinement” was necessary. It also made sure to note that the game is almost ready, aside from these final touches.

Originally, the Shenmue III Kickstarter offered a vague December 2017 release window after its June 15, 2015 launch. 69,320 backers raised $6,333,295 by July 17, 2015 to make the game happen. In June 2017, the game’s release was pushed back into the second half of 2018. Then, in May 2018, it was delayed until 2019. In August 2018, it received an August 27, 2019 launch window, which it will now not make.

Shenmue III will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC on November 19, 2019.
