In addition to the Nintendo Switch Lite announcement this morning, Nintendo also shared a look at the first limited edition model and it features Zacian and Zamazenta from Pokémon Sword & Shield. The limited edition console featuring the two new Legendary Pokémon will go for $199.99 in North America ahead of the games’ release on November 8, 2019. Here’s a quote from Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser:
“November is shaping up to be a big month for Pokémon fans, with the arrival of this special hardware followed by the launch of the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games one week later. The Nintendo Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta Edition will be a great gift for Pokémon fans who want to play the latest games on the go.”
The Nintendo Switch Lite releases September 20, 2019. The Nintendo Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta Edition will be available on November 8, 2019 followed by Pokémon Sword & Shield’s release on November 15, 2019.
