Walmart Will Apparently Have A Special Pokemon Sword And Shield Trainer Outfit For Pokemon Pass Users

It appears that a Pokemon Pass promotion will be available for Pokemon Sword and Shield immediately after the game launches. Apparently, a display has appeared in stores showing off a trainer outfit people can get if they have the Pokemon Pass app on their mobile device. Between November 16-25, 2019, people can visit to unlock the item. Reportedly, this offer has only been seen in Walmart stores in the U.S. (Thanks, Pokemon Global News!)

The Pokemon Sword and Shield trainer outfit available through Walmart’s Pokemon Pass QR code will be an orange and black jumpsuit with matching hat. If someone stops by, logs into the app, then scans the code, they will get a code that can be entered into Pokemon Sword or Shield. Once you redeem the code, you can immediately change into the new outfit.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will have multiple customization options for characters. People will be able to visit stores to get different tops, bottoms, one-piece outfits, socks, shoes, bags, hats, glasses, and gloves for their avatars. You’ll also be able to change your hairstyle and color, adjust makeup, and put in contacts. Trainers’ gym uniforms can also be customized.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will come to the Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019.
