Pokemon Sword & Shield Sold About 1.36 Million Units In First Three Days In Japan

Pokémon Sword Shield released less than a week ago, but we have the early retail numbers from Japan with Famitsu‘s trackers at 1,364,544 physical units sold in its first three days.

The 1,364,544 units comes from physical games that sold from November 15 through November 17, 2019, not counting digital sales. It is now the best-selling Nintendo Switch debut of three days, surpassing the previous title holder Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

With the holidays approaching, Famitsu expects to see software and hardware sales continue to stretch down the road.
