Toshihiro Nagoshi confirmed in the latest Sega Nama broadcast that Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima, and Daigo Dojima appear in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
In a recent trailer we saw the return of Kazuma Kiryu, who was the protagonist of the main Yakuza series up until now. At around the 1:26:45 mark of the video, Nagoshi is asked if we’ll see other returning characters:
Ayana Tsubaki: “So what about other characters besides Kiryu?”
Toshihiro Nagoshi: “Characters besides Kiryu, are you curious?”
Ayana Tsubaki: “Yes, I’m so curious! I mean my aniki Majima is the #1 most popular, after all. Saejima is up there too. Akiyama too. Hana-chan too.”
Toshihiro Nagoshi: “Majima, Saejima, and others will be there… like Daigo [laughs].
Toshihiro Nagoshi: “I think that’s all I can say. They’ll be there, but the volume of how much varies for each of them. It would be a little strange if they were always around, right?”
Nagoshi basically explained that we’ll see some of the characters here and there and some more than others. With Goro Majima being #1 most popular character I expect to see him a little more than the others in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
