Welcome to Digimon World Video Celebrates All Things Digimon

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer designed to get people hyped up about the Digimon series by remembering all of the games and products released over the years. The Welcome to Digimon World begins with Agumon and the digivice, but then shows familiar faces, like Gabumon, Gomamon, Leomon, Palmon, Tentomon, and Tyrannomon. We see a child and adult playing the Digimon Collectible Card Game together, as well as buildings with footage from different console and handheld entries playing on them.

All of this is set to the iconic “Butter-Fly,” by Koji Wada. This is the Digimon Adventure movie and anime theme song. It has since been rereleased multiple times, with a 10th anniversary version in 2009 and one to accompany Digimon Adventure tri as its theme song.

Quite a few Digimon projects are in the works. A new anime series is coming in April 2020. Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna will appear in US theaters in March 2020. Digimon Survive is on the way as well. Most recently, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition showed up on the Nintendo Switch and PC.
