Catherine: Full Body and XCOM 2 Collection Rated For Nintendo Switch In South Korea

Catherine: Full Body has been rated for the Nintendo Switch by South Korea’s equivalent of the ESRB, the Game Rating and Administration Committee. The game is an updated version of Atlus’ Catherine and was released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan and for the PlayStation 4 worldwide.

The Catherine Switch rating reveals that an application was filed for this version of Catherine: Full Body on January 16, 2020 and finalized on January 22, 2020. The game has been given an 18+ rating in South Korea.

A quick look at other Nintendo Switch ratings filed in January also reveals XCOM 2 Collection (suitable for ages 15 and up) and a bunch of Bioshock games—Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock: Infinite, and Bioshock: The Collection—also rated 18+. While this does not confirm any releases, a rating in one region can often lead to an eminent announcement and release in other regions.

Earlier in the month, Atlus ran a user survey asking its Japanese customers what games they wanted to see ported to the Nintendo Switch. Regardless of survey results, if Catherine: Full Body is anything to go by, it seems some of their games are already in the process of being ported over.

Catherine is available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Catherine: Full Body is available on the PlayStation 4 worldwide and on the PlayStation Vita in Japan.
