Temtem Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One Ports Planned for Spring 2021

The next part of the Temtem roadmap has been released by Crema, and there’s one bit of news that steals the show. The console ports have a release window. While all windows are tentative, the developer says that it is hoping to have the Temtem Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of the game out in Spring 2021, around the time the full version of the PC game will appear. But keep in mind this is all spitballing, and Crema even says, “take [release windows] with a grain of salt.”

In addition to the Temtem Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One tentative release windows, Crema talked about some features that could be present in the console versions of the game. First is cross-play, which would allow people on one system to play with those on consoles and PCs. The developer describes it as “technically simple to achieve.” Currently, it is hoping to have it implemented.

The other feature discussed is a Temtem cross-save option. It notes that there are different sorts of technical and legal restrictions and it would have to make a unified account system. It says it is looking into finding “a way to join them together so you can access the same data in all your platforms.” It doesn’t confirm it completely, but does note it could be possible.

Here are the other Temtem update plans for Winter 2020 through Summer 2021. Some notable elements include Arbury Island and its 30 more standard Temtem and mythical one in Winter 2020, an end-game island and different daily and weekly quests in Spring 2021, and a third mythical Temtem and Nuzlocke mode in Summer 2021.

Temtem is available via Early Access for PCs. The Temtem Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions have a tentative Spring 2021 launch window alongside the full PC version.
