Kneel Before the Code Vein Lord of Thunder Starting Today

The third and final Code Vein DLC has appeared. Lord of Thunder has launched and given people a chance to face off against another elemental enemy. You can grab it on its own for $9.99 or get it with the Hellfire Knight and Frozen Empress add-ons for $24.99.

As you might imagine from the title, this add-on is electric. Lord of Thunder involves an enemy of the same name lurking in a whole new area of the Depths. As you go through the area, you’ll find new monsters to face and new equipment, like different weapons, Blood Codes, and Blood Veils to use. Two of your allies, Eva Roux and Jack Rutherford, even get new outfits.

Here’s the Lord of Thunder Code Vein DLC. It teases the game’s last Memory Echo and shows off some of the new enemies you’ll face.

Here’s a gallery looking at some Lord of Thunder features like its new Blood Code, Blood Veil, enemies, and weapons. You can even see Eva and Jack’s new looks!

This is the third bit of Code Vein DLC, with each one having the aforementioned elemental theme. The original was the Hellfire Knight, which took people to something of an inferno in January 2020. Then, the Frozen Empress took us to an icy cavern in February 2020.

Code Vein is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
