We learned about Code Vein‘s big “Hellfire Knight” DLC yesterday, and Bandai Namco made it official with a new trailer.
In Code Vein‘s first DLC, Hellfire Knight, players team up with fellow Revenants again to embark on a new side story. It introduces new weapons, Blood Veils, and Blood Codes for players to check out. It also features new alternate costumes for partner characters that you can find in the new areas in the Depths.
Those who purchased the Code Vein Deluxe Edition will get the DLC, as it comes included with the game and Season Pass along with other content.
The game also got a new patch, update 1.30, which adds support for the Hellfire Knight add-on plus some unspecified bug fixes. The big change from the update comes from Mistles which now allows you to teleport from one Depths map to another. Keep in mind that you still need to find the Mistle before using it.
The Hellfire Knight DLC arrives on January 29, 2020. We previously learned that DLC #1 through #3 are coming early 2020, so it shouldn’t be too long until we get DLC #2 and DLC #3 for Code Vein.
Code Vein is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check our previous report for a look at the latest line of Code Vein fashion items from SuperGroupies.
