PSO2 Day 2020 Gives You a Chance at a Rappy Suit

Today is a very special day, and I’m not just talking about April Fools’ being over. It’s the first second day of a month since Phantasy Star Online 2 went live for everyone, and that means it’s PSO 2 Day! This is the first occasion for North American players, and the cool part is that it’s a monthly holiday. On the second day of every month, Sega and the Phantasy Star Online 2 team run a limited-time event, usually giving players some sort of boost, and a chance to get cool stuff. Today, log into the game and you could walk away with a Rappy costume.

Log into Phantasy Star Online 2 today, and you’ll get two SG22 tickets just for showing up. There are also several bonuses. You’ll get an extra login stamp, and 100 percent bonuses to FUN, EXP, rare item drop rate, and gathering fever occurrence rate. Basically, PSO 2 Day is the perfect chance for some celebratory grinding.

That’s not all, of course. While you’re going about your regular gameplay, make sure to keep an eye out for a new, rare enemy spawn. That’ll be the ARKS Rappy, a large chicken-like creature that’s common enough regularly, but this one is wearing clothes. If you beat it up, you can get a chance for the Rappy Suit Mini: ARKS item to drop.

Finally, if you’re a Premium Set subscriber,  you can log in on the 22 of each month for an additional bonus.

Lucas writes about video games a lot and is a former Siliconera editor. Sometimes he plays them. Every now and then he enjoys one. To get on his good side, say nice things about Dragon Quest and Musou. Never mention the Devil May Cry reboot in his presence. Backed Bloodstained on Kickstarter but all his opinions on it are correct regardless.
