You’ll Surely Have No Objection to These Ace Attorney Backgrounds for Calls

Are you ready to take the stand? Capcom hopes so, as the company has released a new round of Zoom backgrounds for conference calls. This latest batch involves an array of Ace Attorney backgrounds. With the right suits, you could pretty easily pull of a Phoenix Wright or Miles Edgeworth cosplay for your next class or business meeting.

There are three different Ace Attorney backgrounds, and they showcase three different iconic scenes from the series. Two show courtrooms from the games. For example, the first one draws from the original trilogy, which involved Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. (That’s the one with the grey scales symbol above the judge’s bench.) The one with darker tones and golden embellishments draws from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies, one of the more recent installments. Finally, there is the iconic “Objection!” That could come in handy if you’re having trouble getting a word in edgewise.

Here are all three of the different designs Capcom shared with fans via Twitter. Each one is already the right size to use for your calls.

To use these backgrounds in, say, Zoom, you need to head to Account Settings, then Room Management, and finally Zoom Rooms. You can then upload and choose which background to use in meetings. (Having a green screen behind you can help, but isn’t necessary.) In addition to Ace Attorney backgrounds, you can also find official ones for series like Final Fantasy VII, Pokemon, Persona, and Power Rangers.

As a reminder, the most recent Ace Attorney game was Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice, which is available on the Nintendo 3DS and both Android and Apple iOS devices. Also, in 2019, the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy appeared on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide.
