Aniplex Launches Demos for ATRI and Adabana on Steam

Looking for something new to read? Try the newest from publishing giant Aniplex, via its new visual novel imprint, Aniplex.exe. The label’s first two games, ATRI -My Dear Moments- and Adabana Odd Tales, now have demo editions up ahead of their full launches in June 2020. The demos can be downloaded by prospective readers via Steam.

Aniplex.exe is the name of Aniplex of America’s visual novel publishing label. Established in 2019, Aniplex.exe is involved in the planning and production of visual novels and similar games. Aniplex of America itself already publishes games in other genres, like the English-language versions of Fate/Grand Order and Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story on mobile platforms.

Both games are scheduled for a June 2020 release on PC, and Aniplex.exe also uploaded their opening movies to the Aniplex Youtube channel.

Adabana Odd Tales is developed by Liar-soft, which developed Kindred Spirits on the Roof and Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning (both were localized by MangaGamer). The world of Adabana is a fantastic realm of illustrated books. Players will travel the realms of the stories and correct distortions within various classic Japanese fairy tales. Its opening movie was produced by KIZAWA studio and features the song “Adabanayumeutsutsu” sung by vocalist Rita:

ATRI -My Dear Moments- is a sci-fi visual novel taking place in a Waterworld-like setting where sea-level rise has submerged much of human civilization. Ikaruga Natsuki, a young man, meets a mysterious robot girl, Atri while on summer vacation at a waterside town. The game was developed by Frontwing, developers of the Grisaia franchise, and written by Asuta Konno. Konno also authored If My Heart Had Wings. The opening movie was produced by artist yo-yu, featuring the song “Hikari hanate!” by Mami Yanagi:

ATRI -My Dear Moments- and Adabana Odd Tales will launch in June 2020. Playable demos are available now on Steam.
