Bandai Namco shared the first round of Jump Force Meruem screenshots and honestly, they have him pitted against a rather appropriate opponent. 10 in-action images were shared and show the Chimera Ants King beating up the rookie. The Hunter x Hunter villain seems ready to take flight.
There are ten images of the Season 2 character and, if viewed in the right order, it almost looks like he might have been using a Rage Blast against Gon. In Hunter x Hunter, you might see him use this sort of Nen emission attack when he takes flight, which he does in the screenshots.

Meruem is the second Jump Force Season Pass 2 character to be revealed so far. The first was My Hero Academia’s Shoto Todoroki. He showed up earlier in 2020, back at the end of May. While we don’t know exactly who the other remaining characters in this round of add-ons will be, we do know which series they will be from. Yu Yu Hakusho, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Bleach characters will also be appearing as part of this pass.
Jump Force is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will come to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on August 27, 2020 and in the Americas on August 28, 2020.
