Once the update is downloaded, players will be able to apply the United States Emblem on their aircraft. The emblem will be available in three variations: Regular, Low-Vis, and Low-Vis Alt. This update will also add US-related skins—some of them based on existing squadrons in the United States Armed Forces—for select American aircraft:

  • Jolly Rogers Skin, based on the US Navy Strike Fighter Squadron VFA-103, for F-14D Super Tomcat and F/A-18F Super Hornet
  • Red Devils Skin, based on the US Marine Corps Fighter Squadron VMFA-232, for F/A-18F Super Hornet
  • Patriot Skin for F-16C Fighting Falcon and F-15C Eagle

These US Armed Forces skins are also available previously in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon as DLC and the now-defunct free-to-play game Ace Combat Infinity as special aircraft. Earlier this March, Project Aces released the first 25th Anniversary update that also added more aircraft skins and emblems for free.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is available worldwide on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. It has surpassed two million copies worldwide in physical shipments and digital sales combined.
