Ghost of Tsushima Deadzone and Drift Issues Addressed in New Patch

Not every game patch is going to have major additions or new content, as they’re generally about making the games better and fixing issues. For example, the Ghost of Tsushima deadzone and analog stick drift issues should both be eradicated now. Sucker Punch released a new patch on August 20, 2020, and 1.07 should take care of both of those problems.

Here are no Ghost of Tsushima patch notes on the official site for this one. Rather, the company took to its Twitter account to let people know that Jin should move more accurately when you send him around the world and have him fight his foes. All you need to do is head into options and turn on Stick Drift Compensation.

For those wondering what’s going on, some people had issues where the left analog stick wasn’t working properly in-game. It was pointed out on sites like Reddit and Resetera, with the following video by Darth Karnivorus showing the issue (before the patch) in action.

Bug fixes aside, Ghost of Tsushima has received quite a bit of post-launch support. Its first patch added a new difficulty level and a multiplayer Legends mode will arrive in Fall 2020.

Ghost of Tsushima is available for the PlayStation 4. The 1.07 patch that fixes the Ghost of Tsushima deadzone and drift issues is immediately available as well.
