Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance Have Been Rated For PC in Taiwan

Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance have been rated for PC in Taiwan. The Digital Media Entertainment website has uploaded individual pages for these three games. All pages for these potential ports include listings that have a link to Konami’s official website. [Thanks, Gematsu!]

Metal Gear Solid originally released on PC in September 2000 and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance released on PC in March 2003.  However, this will be the first time Metal Gear will be be available on PC, if these listing end up coming to fruition. It is unclear if the games that have been listed will simply be ports of previous PC versions, or will be improved upon in some way.

Additional Konami games that have been rated in Taiwan include the Konami Collector’s Series: Castlevania and Contra. The Konami Collector’s Series includes Castlevania, Castlevania II Simon’s Quest, Castlevania III Draclua’s Curse, Contra, and Super C.

In other recent Metal Gear news, the upcoming Metal Gear In Concert 2020 will be available to watch via livestream. Ticket holders will be able to watch the concert from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, those that have purchased tickets will receive a Metal Gear In Concert face mask.
