After a bit of a delay, the Ooblets Nullwhere update is now live. Originally planned to appear in September 2020, other elements (like the developers having a child) resulted in the new region and other gameplay elements making their delay on October 14, 2020. Essentially, it allows for even more Ooblet raising and dance battling, crafting, and farming. A Halloween event might also appear at the end of October 2020.
The main addition is the inclusion of the Nullwhere region and all sorts of new elements to go with it. There are nine NPCs to interact with, four new items to craft, and three new crops. You can also now find native Ooblets in game, which means you can find their gleamy and uncommon color variants. Two entirely new Ooblets, Lickzer and Namnam, join the roster too. There are also 24 total new dance moves Ooblets can learn and perform.

Ooblets is in early access on the Xbox One and PC via Epic Games Store. It has a 2021 launch window for the full game.
