Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity demo

Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Demo Apparently on the Way (Update)

A Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity demo is apparently on the way to the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Korea supposedly accidentally leaked information about the demo ahead of time, as pointed out by Kelios on Twitter. Commonwealth Realm on Twitter later shared eShop images where a promotional image for the demo, which isn’t out just yet, appear. Update: It’s available now.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will canonically take place 100 years before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game will tell the story of The Great Calamity that destroyed the Hyrule Kingdom. In Breath of the Wild, this war between the armies of Hyrule and the forces of Calamity Ganon was only alluded to. It is a Musou game along the lines of Hyrule Warriors Legends and Fire Emblem Warriors.

If you’re biding your time and abstaining from the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity demo, recent screenshots have shown off enemy designs, environments, and weapons. Additionally, a Nintendo Treehouse Live of the game also revealed exploration aspects with the loveable Koroks scattered around the battlefields.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will release on the Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020. GameStop is offering a pre-order bonus, as is the Nintendo eShop. A demo is apparently also on the way.
