Hyrule Warriors Koroks

Everyone will have to keep their eyes peeled as they search for Koroks in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. During the October 2020 Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation, a Korok popped up during a hectic battle. Nintendo was keen to highlight these Hyrule Warriors Koroks in the tweet below:

The playful little Koroks are no strangers to hiding, even 100 years in the past. One of the many aspects of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity‘s gameplay will involve environmental exploration. The Hyrule Warriors Koroks will be disguised among the battlefields‘ items, as featured in the gameplay portion below:

It’s unclear if there will be 900 to find like in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or what their purpose will be in the final release. Fans of the first game might notice similarities between the Koroks and Gold Skulltulas from the previous game. We’ll have to wait for more details to know for sure.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020. GameStop has a pre-order bonus with a Mysterious Guardian keychain; digital pre-orders on the eShop give players a Lucky Ladle in-game as a weapon.
