TimeLimit Within 7 Days New Teaser Revealed By Square Enix

Square Enix has published a new teaser webpage with the phrase “TimeLimit Within 7 Days” displayed at the center. The page also has a button that plays a BGM with version 20201117 as of this writing.

This is not the first time Square Enix used this phrase for a teaser. In fact, it has become a familiar term that definitely refers to The World Ends With You. The company previously had a countdown teaser with the same phrase and even webpage layout in August 2012, culminating with the reveal of The World Ends With You: Solo Remix for iOS devices. A backpack modeled after The World Ends With You: Final Remix, which is immediately available on Nintendo Switch, also has the phrase inscribed on the tag.

The World Ends With You is the official English localized title of Subarashiki Kono Sekai: It’s a Wonderful World, which was released for Nintendo DS in Japan in July 2007 and the West in April 2008. Square Enix is currently working on an anime adaptation of the franchise, which is scheduled to air worldwide in 2021.

This new “TimeLimit Within 7 Days” teaser is scheduled to end right at the midnight of November 24, 2020, in Japan. In Eastern US time, that will be 10 AM on November 23, 2020.
