People will have a chance to return to Shibuya with NEO: The World Ends With You, a new, upcoming The World Ends With You title. The Reapers Game will begin once again worldwide in Summer 2021. Square Enix revealed the news through a mysterious teaser website that appeared seven days ago on November 17, 2020.
The announcement trailer shows off how combat will work in the new title and introduces a handful of its main characters, such as Rindo, Fret, Nagi, Minamimoto, and the Game Master Shiba. This video also includes a look at the new environments, how exploration exploration will work, and what appears to be a boss fight. Unlike the previous title, NEO: The World Ends With You will be mostly presented in 3D.

Now that the countdown has reached its end, the teaser website has now turned into the official site for the upcoming game. Outside of the announcement trailer and the release date, no further information has been shared.
