Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.4 will introduce the MMO’s own take on the Emerald Weapon from FFVII. The official website shared new details and screenshots for what’s coming in the update early next month.
Trials: Castrum Marinum (Patch 5.4)
Your recent victories led to the discovery of info surrounding the Weapon project. The Final Fantasy XIV version of the Emerald Weapon is a warmachina code-named “Emerald.” It will be up to you to stop it before it can be unleashed into the world.
Resistance Weapon Quests: Save the Queen: Past to Rest (Patch 5.45)
The Resistance Weapon Quests will continue in Patch 5.45. The battle for the southern front rages on as the Resistance’s chances of victory appear slim.
New Large-Scale Battle: Delubrum Reginae (Patch 5.45)
The next large-scale battle, “Delebrum Reginae,” will arrive in Patch 5.45. It’s essentially a new version of The Baldestion Arsenal from Eureka. It is located under the wastes of the Bozja Citadel, in the ruins of Queen Gunnhildr’s kingdom.
Blue Mage Update (Patch 5.45)
Lastly, the Blue Mage will get a big update in Patch 5.45. It will raise the level cap to 70 and introduce new job-specific quests and equipment. Moreover, players will also get to discover new spells to master.
