Arma Bianca will sell special Q&Q SmileSolar watches with collaboration designs from the Persona series. The brand revealed three models based on the protagonists of the popular games Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5.
The only differences between the three models are the external designs. The blue Persona 3 watch has “Special Extracurricular Execute Sector” written on its side strap with an Evoker icon on the free loop. The yellow Persona 4 model instead has “I’m yourself, you’re myself” with a Glasses icon, while the red Persona 5 one has “Take Your Heart” and Joker’s mask.
All three Persona watches will come with a solar-powered battery that lasts for around 3.5 months after fully charged. They will also have 10-bar water resistance and polyurethane straps that won’t easily get sticky or uncomfortable due to moisture.
Pre-orders of these Persona watches will be available from February 1, 2021, to March 24, 2021. Potential buyers will also be able to place the orders on AmiAmi, which has an English international storefront. The watches are priced at 8,778 yen (~$84.65), but only 500 of each model will be produced. The finished products will be delivered starting from late July 2021.
At the end of 2020, Atlus’ Kazuhisa Wada talked about celebrating Persona’s 25th anniversary in 2021; the series’ first-ever title was released on PlayStation in September 1996. The latest title in the series is Persona 5 Strikers, an action RPG spinoff with a continuation story to Persona 5 that will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on February 23, 2021.
