Judgment PS5, Xbox Series, Stadia Ports to Arrive April 23, 2021

Judgment, the investigation-focused game from the Yakuza team, is no longer PlayStation 4-only. The game, with all downloadable content and upgraded visual fidelity, will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Google Stadia for $39.99. The Judgment PS5, Xbox and Stadia ports will launch April 23, 2021.

Originally released in 2018 in Japan and 2019 elsewhere, Judgment builds on Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s previous work on the Yakuza franchise. Its protagonist, former lawyer Takayuki Yagami, uses his investigation skills to uncover underworld mysteries. He also enjoys drone races and cats. Yagami develops deep friendships and works to solve a murder. He also dresses up like a vampire and plays darts with a ninja.

The Judgment PS5, Xbox and Stadia ports sport “refined visuals.” They’ll also run at 60 frames per second with improved load times. The included downloadable content packs give players extra items. These include in-battle consumables, more parts for the drone racing minigame and more options. Check out Sega’s official trailer below for a better look at how the game runs on the new platforms.

Judgment will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia on April 23, 2021. It is immediately available on PlayStation 4. Additionally, many of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s games, like the Yakuza Remastered Collection, were recently added to Xbox Game Pass.
