Bravely Default II Trailer Shames You Into Using Brave and Default Abilities

Nintendo uploaded a new Bravely Default II trailer to its official YouTube channel. The latest video for Square Enix’s upcoming turn-based RPG focused on the gameplay mechanics with an announcer that did not hold back.

The posh British announcer used passive-aggressive wit to explain the game’s two key mechanics: Brave and Default. The narrator shamed the player in the Bravely Default II trailer to use Default effectively, instead of brute-forcing their way to victory with the Brave command. Fans could also catch a glimpse of some sweeping vistas and new enemy types in the latest trailer, if they can drown out the criticisms for a moment.

Check out the below trailer and remember that “one cannot simply ‘brave’ their way through life’s many trials.”

Nintendo has been releasing Bravely Default II trailers showcasing the game’s job system and mechanics. The previous video gave fans a look at the Hellblade, Bastion, Phantom, and Arcanist. Additionally, those interested in trying the game out early can download the Final Demo on the Nintendo eShop now. Those who download the demo before the game’s release will earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points. My Nintendo will also have a new reward soon: an 18″ x 24″ reversible poster featuring Floria and the city of Halcyonia.

Bravely Default II will launch on the Nintendo Switch on February 26, 2021.
