Bloodborne Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa announced his departure from SIE Japan (Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan) through his Twitter. Yamagiwa tweeted his departure in both Japanese and English, which you can read below.

Yamagiwa also produced Déraciné, a virtual reality title by FromSoftware. Additionally, he helped produce the Old Hunters DLC for Bloodborne. The DLC saw players further explore the world of Bloodborne and uncover secrets regarding the Healing Church and Yharnam, while exploring entirely new areas like the Astral Clocktower.

Bloodborne Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa isn’t the only recent developer to leave SIE Japan. Keiichiro Toyama, best known for creating the Silent Hill and Siren series, recently left SIE Japan to create his own studio. This new studio is comprised of developers that previously worked alongside Toyama. Recently, Toyama revealed that this newly established studio was working on a new horror game.

Bloodborne and the Bloodborne: Old Hunters DLC are immediately available on PlayStation 4.
