Sting announced through its official Twitter account that Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue FHD Edition will release on the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices in Japan on March 18, 2021. The title will cost ¥2,200 or approximately $20.
This new edition will feature the same cast, however various updates and adjustments will be available in the title. This includes two new difficulties, which add both an “Easy” and “Nightmare” mode. For the first time, Yggdra will be a playable character. Additional voice acting will also be included in this port, alongside numerous quality of life upgrades. Some of the revealed changes on the official website include a rewind function, the ability to adjust battle speed, an auto save feature, a cloud save feature, and compatibility with smartphone controllers.
The Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue FHD Edition port was announced in December 2020. At the time, a limited amount of information was revealed. A basic explanation of the game had been shared, along with confirmation that the game would be upgraded to offer HD visuals and include some rebalances.
Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue FHD Edition will release for the Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS devices on March 18, 2021 in Japan. There’s no word yet regarding a worldwide release.
