Capcom Announces Three New Resident Evil Village Demos

Capcom revealed new demos for Resident Evil Village ahead of the game’s release. The news comes as part of the Resident Evil April 2021 Showcase. The demos for the upcoming survival horror title will be available on PS4 and PS5 for limited time windows below. Then, it will show up on multiple platforms.

Firstly, the new PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Stadia time-limited demo will let fans play the game for up to 60 minutes. The demo is only available during specific time windows detailed below.

    • Start: May 1, 2021 at 5 pm PT
    • End: May 2, 2021 at 5pm PT
  • Europe
    • Start: May 2, 2021 at 2 am CEST
    • End: May 3, 2021 at 2 am CEST
  • Asia
    • Start: May 2, 2021 at 8 am HKT
    • End: May 3, 2021 at 8 am HKT

PS4 and PS5 users will have early access to two demos before that titled “Eight Hours in Village.” Both demos will be 30 minutes long.

The upcoming demos aren’t the first for Resident Evil Village. Back in January 2021, Capcom released a PS5 demo that introduced The Maiden.

Resident Evil Village will launch on May 7, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia. The latest mainline game in the series will also come with a separate multiplayer game, Resident Evil Re:Verse. The extra title will come with either the standard or deluxe version of Resident Evil Village.
