Pokemon Fossil Museum Will Combine Paleontology and Pokemon

The Pokemon Fossil Museum, a traveling exhibit combining Pokemon and fossils, will begin on July 4, 2021. This exhibit is exclusive to Japan and will take place in various cities across the country. The first stop is in Hokkaido, with the first event being held at the Mikasa City Museum. This unique event will utilize real dinosaur fossils and fictional fossils found in the Pokemon universe to teach attendees about paleontology. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

As mentioned previously, the Hokkaido event will begin on July 4, with the final date for the exhibit landing on September 20, 2021. Attendees must make reservations ahead of time in order to attend the event. The exhibit will then travel to Shimane, Tokyo, and Aichi. The dates for these events will arrive sometime in the future. However, the plan is that the Pokemon Fossil Museum exhibit will extend into Summer 2022.

New merchandise was revealed for the upcoming release of New Pokemon Snap. This includes a variety of photography themed goods, leading up to the release of this entirely new picture taking based adventure. Consumers can get their hands on framed magnets and a photo album to store pictures. However, this merchandise will be exclusive to Japanese consumers.
