Lego Super Mario Luigi Starter Course Set Announced

Pre-orders have opened for a new Lego Super Mario set. Nintendo of America revealed the new Lego Super Mario Luigi Starter Course Set through its official Twitter account. A short video demonstrated what will come with the set. Consumers will also be able to build their very own courses with this set. The Luigi Starter Course Set releases globally on August 1, 2021. Prices for the set will vary by region.

The Lego Super Mario Luigi Starter Course Set will come with parts to create an obstacle course and feature recognizable characters from the Super Mario series. This includes a pink Yoshi variant, a bone Goomba, and Boom Boom. Additionally, consumers can receive digital coins for helping Luigi get through the obstacle course. This set will come with a total of two hundred and eighty pieces. You can watch the demonstration video below.

In August 2020, Lego released a total of ten Lego Super Mario Expansion sets. This included a Mario’s House and Yoshi Expansion, and a King Boo and the Haunted Mansion Expansion set. However, some of these sets were exclusively released to specific stores. Additionally, character packs are available to purchase which can potentially add a total of ten enemies for Mario, and now Luigi, to evade through the various obstacle courses.

The Lego Super Mario Luigi Starter Course Set will release globally on August 1, 2021, pre-orders begin today.
