Additionally, Capcom has revealed which monsters will appear in the April Free Title Update. This includes the Chameleos and Apex Rathalos, which were previously revealed. Players will be able to take on the Apex Rathalos through Rampage Mode. However, players will be able to take on the Teostra, Kushala Daora, and Apex Diablos through the April Free Title Update. Once this patch is sent out, the Hunter Rank cap will be removed through this Free Title Update.

Players will also be able to obtain new gestures, voice packs, stickers, hairstyles, and pet costumes through the Nintendo eShop. New event quests will also be available to play entirely for free through the update. Event quests will reward players with unique gestures and stickers. More information regarding these bonuses will be revealed in the future.

Capcom also shared how large the Free Title Update patch will be. Players should have 0.9GB to 1.5GB available on their Nintendo Switch, depending if they have already downloaded the previous updates. These included various bug fixes for glitches that had previously prevented players from accessing their save data. Other bugs included an issue regarding the Talisman melding feature.

Monster Hunter Rise is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch. A PC version will release sometime in early 2022. The Monster Hunter Rise April Free Title Update will release on April 28, 2021.
