Resident Evil Re:Verse Site Lists a Summer 2021 Launch Window

While Resident Evil Village is about to make its debut in May 2021, the complementary Resident Evil Re:Verse won’t. The additional game and mode comes free with Capcom’s latest entry in the series. But now the official Resident Evil Re:Verse site says people can expect it in Summer 2021. [Thanks, Eurogamer!]

Resident Evil Re:Verse puts between four and six people into the shoes of both famous people and Bioweapons from the series. Your goal is to take out as many opponents in Deathmatch-style fights. Characters like Claire and Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and Nemesis have appeared in initial screenshots and betas.

Since its announcement, multiple Resident Evil Re:Verse beta tests appeared. The first was a closed beta in January 2021. There were three open beta phases held during April 2021. However, during those Capcom had to deal with issues. For example, during the early April 2021 open beta, matchmaking was broken and it led to temporary maintenance. Capcom’s site didn’t mention if there could be additional Resident Evil Re:Verse betas held before its Summer 2021 launch.

In the meantime, there is another Resident Evil Village demo coming up. That next period will begin in May 2021 and be open to people on all platforms.

Resident Evil Village will launch on May 7, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia. It will include Resident Evil Re:Verse, which will launch in Summer 2021.
