The official Gate of Nightmares Twitter shared new screenshots of the upcoming mobile game. This includes a look at various environments that you’ll find in the mobile title, along with a glimpse at some combat effects. Additionally, screenshots from cutscenes were also shared in this new batch of images. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The screenshots feature scenes starring the two main characters of Gate of Nightmares, Azel and Emma. A mysterious new, unnamed character is also shown in one screenshot. Weekly Shonen Jump will reveal more information regarding Gate of Nightmares at a later date.

Gate of Nightmares is the latest mobile title in development by Square Enix, with a hands-on testing period scheduled for a select amount of participants. The developer and publisher will be working alongside Fairy Tail series creator Hiro Mashima and the likes of Jin Fujisawa to create an entirely new scenario. More information regarding the upcoming mobile RPG will be released through the official Twitter account and website.
Gate of Nightmares is currently in development for Android and iOS devices. There is currently no information regarding the release of a potential localization or global version of the game.
