Bandai has announced five new Demon Slayer Gashapon that will be coming to stores in Japan at the end of May 2021. As part of the “Narabundesu” line, the figures will be the third lineup in the Demon Slayer series of Gashapon. Newly added will be Tengen, Obanai, Mitsuri, Sanemi, and Genya. Each figure will cost ¥300 (approx. $3). [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
Additionally, it also announced that the first series of Gashapon is making a comeback to stores in the form of a boxed set. This set will feature all five figures of the first lineup, which includes Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Kanao. This boxed set will cost ¥330 (approx. $3) and will also be available in stores at the end of May.
Both Gashapon figure sets are deformed versions of the characters from Demon Slayer. Each figure is posed in a way to show off the character’s personality. Zenitsu, for instance, can be seen crying in a sitting position, while the cuisine-passionate Mitsuri has a mouth full of what is most likely food.
The Gashapon line of figures is fairly low-priced, allowing consumers to collect the entire cast of the Demon Slayer franchise without breaking the bank. The second lineup released in late April 2021 featured other Hashira, such as Kyojuro and Giyu. Megahouse also recently announced a G.E.M figure of Nezuko that fits in the palm of your hand.

Both figure sets will release in Japanese stores in the fifth week of May 2021. Each figure in the third lineup will cost ¥300, while the boxed set of the first lineup will cost ¥330.
