People won’t have to wait long to play the second part of Fantasian. After some teasing, we know when it will come to Apple Arcade. The Fantasian release date for part 2 is August 13, 2021. An update will go out that day that grants access to the second part and makes the game whole. This comes after creator Hironobu Sakaguchi teased it was “almost done” back in July 2021. When Fantasian launched on Apple Arcade, it was only the first part of the game. That was more story focused, introducing party members and setting up the background for the JRPG. It offered over 20 hours of gameplay. Following the Fantasian part 2 release date, an additional 40-60 hours of gameplay will be added.
As a reminder, one of the unique features of Fantasian is its use of dioramas. Each environment was first made in the real world, before being added as a background in the game. Sakaguchi noted that most of the dioramas created for it will eventually be destroyed.
The Apple Arcade release date for the second part of Fantasian is August 13, 2021. The first part is immediately available for people with Apple Arcade subscriptions on Macbook Air and iOS devices. A monthly subscription to the service costs $4.99.
