Bandai Namco announced it is bringing Disney Magical World 2 to the Nintendo Switch. One of the September 2021 Nintendo Direct reveals, Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition is an updated version of the Nintendo 3DS game that appeared worldwide in 2016. It will include all DLC from that release.
Disney Magical World 2 is an Animal Crossing-style game. People create an avatar, then get to live with different Disney characters. They can visit worlds based on different movies. For example, the sequel was known for adding characters and worlds from series like Frozen, Lilo & Stitch and Wreck-it Ralph. You would also be able to decorate your home and personal cafe.
While no dedicated trailer for the rerelease appeared, you can see the Disney Magical World 2 Switch announcement at the 14:50 mark in the video below. The segment is brief, but it showed off some of the different elements. For example, you can see the clothing crafting portion. You also can see the rhythm game element in a The Little Mermaid area. New to this entry characters like Frozen‘s Anna and Elsa show up as well.
Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch in time for the Holiday 2021 season. Disney Magical World 2 is available on the Nintendo 3DS. Its eShop listing is online, but pre-orders aren’t open yet.
