SMT V Ouyamatsumi Pyro Jack

SMT V Juxtaposes Ouyamatsumi With Pyro Jack

Today’s SMT V daily demon digest videos feature Ouyamatsumi and Pyro Jack. While Pyro Jack appeared in practically every SMT adjacent title, Ouyamatsumi is a demon that newer fans of the series may not be familiar with. It previously appeared in SMT II, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.

Ouyamatsumi is part of the Kunitsu race in SMT V, like in other games. Its teaser video starts with a size comparison between Ouyamatsumi and the Nahobino, showing that the Nahobino is about the same height as its foot. Unlike previous videos in the series, Ouyamatsumi completely destroys the Nahobino with its powerful physical attacks and a Mabufudyne.

As opposed to the fearsome Ouyamatsumi, Pyro Jack in SMT V remains the same as ever. Similar to how Pyro Jack works in previous Atlus titles, it incinerates its enemies with Agilao and Maragi. Unsurprisingly, Pyro Jack will specialize in fire magic. At the end of the video, it joins the Nahobino’s party, stating that it feels satisfied.
