The framed art will be available in four variations. The first two versions will feature the key art of the inaugural BlazBlue title, Calamity Trigger, and BlazBlue Centralfiction. The other two will pieces are identical to the first two except for the added signatures. The signature of the series creator Toshimichi Mori will be on the Calamity Trigger art, while illustrator Yuuki Kato’s will appear on the Centralfiction art.

Arc System Works will showcase the BlazBlue framed art at the Shibuya Tsutaya store. Consumer can purchase the art at a price tag of 33,000 yen (~$290) from November 20, 2021 to December 12, 2021. Dai Nippon Printing will then process the art and deliver the finished frames in February 2022.

Previously in June 2021, Arc System Works revealed framed art based on Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- and Guilty Gear Strive. Dai Nippon Printing used its Primo Art technology to reproduce the art physically with better coloring. The company sold the art at the same Shibuya Tsutaya outlet and delivered the finished products by September 2021.

The series’ latest fighting game is BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, the crossover game spanning multiple franchises that came out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and arcades in 2018. The company is currently running a mobile RPG titled BlazBlue Alternative: Dark War. In a live stream in January 2021, Toshimichi Mori expressed his hopes to return to BlazBlue‘s roots as a fighting game.
