FFXI Mandragora Mug and Plush Merchandise on the Way

The latest round of FFXI merchandise in Japan honors the Mandragora. The enemy appears in multiple Final Fantasy games, like FFXIV, and tends to look about the same each time. The latest items are a mug and a plush toy. The mug will appear first on October 8, 2022. The plush will follow on November 27, 2022.

The FFXI Mandragora mug costs 3,300円 (~$25). Each one has the character’s face on the front. Inside are the two leaves that appear on the top of their head. This means if the cup is positioned just right, you see it as it would appear in-game. The back of the mug has a Vana’diel logo with a Mandragora in the middle.

As for the Mandragora plush, it is a 240mm tall toy. The character is in a sitting position. It will be 4,400円 (~$34).

When it comes to merchandise, the Mandragora will be joined by some other familiar faces from FFXI. There will also be plush Goblin and Shantotto toys. Like the Mandragora, both are sitting and will appear on November 27, 2022. The Shantotto is 5,060円 (~$39). The Goblin is slightly more expensive at 6,380円 (~$49). However, the Goblin does come with a removable backpack.

Final Fantasy XI is available for PCs. Its 20th anniversary livestream appeared on May 8, 2022. The Mandragora mug will appear in Japan on October 8, 2022. The Mandragora, Goblin, and Shantotto plush will debut on November 27, 2022.
